Onion Fritters



INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Chickpea Flour (Besan)
1 cup Oil
1 heaped teaspoon Carom seeds  (Ajwain)
1 heaped teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon Garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Chopped Green Chillies (Jalapeno) 1-2 each (optional)
1/2 cup Water
1 1/2 cup Sliced Onion



HOW TO MAKE: 


1)   Mix all the ingredients well except oil and onions. Let batter rest 1/2 hour in a warm place.


2)   Dip onions in batter to coat.


3)   Deep fry in oil .Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.


4)   Serve with cilantro or mint chutney.

              DIFFICULTY LEVEL    :   EASY
              RATING  POINTS         :    9/10**


**  The batter consistency needs to be perfect, or else the fritters would not form well.

** Do not add the onion slices into the mixed batter till you are ready to fry as the batter can become watery.
